  • FOLDS OF TIME
  • 1999
  • Time is rolling, setting forth potential for new things, new creations. Two shapes bound together. A smaller one attached to one of them, folded into it, having yet no individuality of its own. This is a potential opening when time moves on but also the moving of time. Either as a door or as a book, the structure with its repetitive motives is made to create a quality of continuity, of change. The Hebrew text says: "Turning pages, Doors close and open quietly, Into the folds of time."
